The International University of Grand Bassam offers transportation to its commuter students and staff as well as shuttle services to campus students. The University has a 53 seats bus which runs twice a day for the commuter students and staff from Abidjan to Grand Bassam where the University is located. The bus departs at 6:45 am from Abidjan to Bassam and returns back at 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. Tickets can be paid at the beginning or the end of the semester.
Two Vans of 14 seats each provide shuttle service between Campuses and other destinations.
IUGB shuttle service generally begins early in the morning and goes up until at least 10 pm week days and midnight on week end. Vans usually depart both campuses every 30 minutes.
Your dining experience is more than great food at IUGB. The restaurant team is committed to creating the best possible dining experience for you and your guests. Meal plans are included as part of the tuition and fees for all students living on campus.
IUGB campus prides itself on providing a safe and secure environment for our students.
Security cameras are operational at most residential facility entrances, as well as at other locations throughout campus.
Security officers are available to escort students on campus 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Every facility has fire alarms, extinguishers and smoke detectors.
Sports and Recreation
A new sport facility offers to our students a great opportunity to wisely manage their time after class hours. Keep them active and fit. This comprehensive program offers individual and team sports through organized leagues, tournaments, and special events.
Repair and Maintenance:
Available on campus by submitting a request to the housing department
Two laundry rooms are available on campus to satisfy the daily needs of students.
Clothes are dropped off and an attendant washes dries and folds the clothes for the students.
The laundry is open every day.
Room cleaning is the responsibility of each student.
Cleaning is an activity aimed at maintaining a clean university environment. It is by no means a complete maid service.
The department of the Student Life and Services handles other roommate conflicts and other issues by providing a variety of services to residents including:
- Assisting students in solving their problems inside dorms and encouraging them to develop friendships
- Assisting in settling roommate conflicts
- Organizing get-togethers to talk and resolve problems
