On Thursday, June 13, 2019, IUGB was hosted the Master Class offered by Mrs. Nabou FALL, CEO of VIZEO in the Meeting Room of the Grand Bassam campus. The training aimed at enhancing students’ interpersonal skills and, thus, contribute to their success in both professional and personal lives. Fifteen (15) graduating students were present.

The interactive class started with the presentation of Mrs. FALL. She then focused on the components of soft skills, their importance and ways to improve them. The students were, afterward, given some assignments designed to help them deeply understand how soft skills work. They were divided into 3 groups and were asked to come up with ideas to improve youth entrepreneurship in Cote d’Ivoire. The findings of each group were presented and discussed.

The workshop allowed students to show their soft-skills such as communication, leadership, problem-solving, self-confidence, team work… and know their strengths and weaknesses.

“This workshop allowed for me to reflect and learn mainly about the psychological aspects of our life. Self-confidence, for example, is necessary in order to make good progress. We need also to set goals in our life, be true with and loving to others, avoid judging people, be a team player and communicate well” said Ange Sebastian Junior Gnazale (‘2019) after the Master Class.

At the end of the program, the Vice President for Academic Affairs expressed his appreciation to Mrs. FALL, also on behalf of the University President and the IUGB Community, for sharing her expertise and experience with the graduating students and to Mrs. Amini KAJUNJU, Executive Director of the IUGB Foundation, for having introduced her to the University.
