He informed His Excellency that he met with Prof. Maria do Rosario Bragança Sambo, Angolan Minister of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, in 2018 in Cairo, Egypt, during the Third Africa Forum on Science, Technology, and Innovation. She showed a lot of interest in establishing collaboration between IUGB and Angolan universities.
President Touré and the two Vice Presidents presented a brief history of IUGB and its growth and development as well as its mission, vision, programs and future expansions. The Ambassador was impressed with IUGB achievements and promised to promote the University among academic institutions in Angola.
