Professor Saliou TOURE, President of IUGB, and Mr. Redda BEN GELOUNE, Managing Director of AITEK, proceeded, on April 14, 2021, with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen the University-Corporate collaboration for the promotion of scientific research, university training and continuing education.

During this ceremony, President TOURE gave a brief presentation of IUGB and indicated his happiness with the signing of the MoU, which adds another stone to the IUGB relations with the socio-professional world. He talked about the importance of the graduates’ employability that is enhanced by the contribution of professionals in teaching, as part-time faculty, study visits to companies and professional internships.

After presenting his company, Mr. BEN GELOUNE expressed his delight with the quality of the many IUGB students and graduates that have been working with them since 2020. He expressed his will to employ more graduates because of the quality of their education, their interpersonal skills their serious and rigor in their work. He is also willing to do more with IUGB and promised to give a presentation on campus during the Fall 2021 semester.

IUGB and AITEK will jointly offer training programs to AITEK staff and IUGB students and organize scientific, technical or this events of mutual interest. The two institutions have also undertaken to set up research projects and exchange information, documentation and studies. Additionally, AITEK is willing to welcome IUGB students for technical and professional internships.
