A. Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems (BSCIS) at IUGB provides students  with a unique combination of business and information technology (IT) skills which allow them to develop and manage information systems in organizations with the objective of gaining efficiency and competitive advantage. This major is designed to follow the standards of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

B. Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the BSCIS program at IUGB, graduates will have the ability to:

Careers opportunities in CIS are available in almost every organization, from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to the large ones. The BSCIS program helps students to acquire new areas of expertise in both business and IT, and enhance their professional marketability. Graduates from this major will be prepared for entry-level positions in business and system analysis, IT project management, database management, Web development, and technical support careers.
