The IUGB Administration Met with Parents to Discuss the American-Style Education Offered at the University
The administration of IUGB met with parents to discuss the American-style education offered at the University. This is the first meeting in 2019, between the administration and the parents of students. It was organized in collaboration with the Executive Office of the Association of Student Parents and was held at the N’sa Hotel in Grand Bassam.
This semester the faculty body is enforced with two (2) colleagues, who are teaching as full-time faculty. Below are short biographies for each of them.
The partnership between IUGB and the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) provides opportunities for UAB masters students in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) to gain teaching experience at IUGB.

Negotiated and facilitated by the IUGB Foundation, IBM representative Babacar Kane and Professor Saliou Toure, President of the International University of Grand-Bassam (IUGB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on November 21, 2018 to implement IBM’s skills academy program for IUGB faculty and students.
On Saturday September 8, 2018, IUGB hosted its 4thcommencement ceremony at the Palais de la Culture in Abidjan. This graduation cohort of 48 students, 38 from the school of Business and Social Sciences (BSS) and 10 from the school of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
