Moussa Djabate is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Business & Social Sciences at the International University of Grand Bassam. He holds a Master degree in telecommunication networks engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York University and an MBA in finance from Keller Graduate School of Management of Devry University. Both Universities are located in New York City, NY in the USA. Moussa has a total of 18 years of professional experience in the Telecommunication industry. He first spent 13 years with Verizon communications in the US, serving at various positions such as circuit analyst, collocation project manager and Data Traffic Engineering manager. Another three years were spent as the CTO of VITIB S.A. here in the city of Bassam. And, finally, he launched and led SKYNET (ISP in Abidjan) as the managing director for two years before joining IUGB. Moussa has research interests in Management of Information Systems, in Micro finance, and in the Internet Global Reach in Sub-Saharan Africa. He is planning to enroll in a Doctoral program related to his field of interest in the coming years in order to enhance his research skills.
